Author opt-out & takedown

Ship designs belong to the people who built them. If your build is listed here and you would rather it wasn't, say so and it comes down. There is no form to argue with, no waiting period and no conditions attached.

How to request removal

Email hello@approximatelyupblueprints.online with:

• a link to the page on this site, or the ship's name;
• a link to your Steam Workshop item, so we can confirm you're the author;
• whether you want the file removed but the listing kept (a card with stats and a link to your Workshop page), or the entry gone entirely.

That second option exists because some authors are happy to be found but would rather people subscribe on Steam. Both are fine.

What happens next

Requests are handled by hand, normally within a few days. You'll get a reply confirming what was changed. Removed entries are not re-added later.

Verification

The only check is that the request comes from the Workshop account that published the item — usually a reply from the linked profile, or a temporary note added to the item description. This exists to stop somebody else taking down your work, not to slow you down.

Other copyright complaints

If you hold rights to material used on this site and believe it is being used improperly, send the same address a description of the material, where it appears, and how to reach you. Anything credibly disputed is taken offline while it is sorted out.

Adding your own ships

The opposite request is also welcome. If you want a build listed, or want your existing entry updated to a newer version, send the file or the Workshop link and it will be added with credit.
